(Photo by Suneet Kumar Singh/VCG)The Times of Australia reported that the US software giant has launched a new branch in India, opening its second in Bengalu on November 17, 2019.
The site is part of a broader expansion plan of the company’s operations in the country.
Amazon has been growing its presence in India for more than two years, and its Indian operations have helped the company generate revenue of more than $8 billion (Rs 6,521 crore) in the first half of 2020, according to the company.
The company is currently based in Bengalururu and plans to open more branches in Bengal, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Bengaluru and Pune in the coming months.

This will be the second Amazon store to open in Bengalut, which was opened in March 2020.
The store opened in Bengalauk in September 2018.
